Gone is the slop: a driveway emerges

It’s a driveway! The crew started first thing Monday morning by unloading a motorized wheelbarrow.

The bucket was filled curbside and then driven to the various locations needing concrete, starting in the back:

Here they are creating the base for the brick border that will surround the back porch/pavilion area.

It was close, but the driver managed to avoid hitting the sides of the house and garage as he steered his way to the back yard.

Here they’re working on the section between the garage and covered portion of the driveway.

They finally made it to the front, depleting two trucks’ worth of concrete, and got a much needed break while waiting for the next one.
