College tour #2 with boy #1

We had a hectic week, but it was fun because most of our family was together. My brother flew to Denver to see Eric now that he’s back from his deployment, my niece was here for a few days and Ross came home to have dinner with the family one night.

Yesterday we braved the rain and temperatures in the mid-forties and drove up to Fort Collins so Eric could tour the Colorado State University campus. Ross gave a great tour and took him to see a couple of the dorms, the book store, the library, the gym and the chemistry, engineering/physics and computer science buildings.

and visited the admissions office and veterans services.

This beautiful area of the campus is called The Oval.

Eric flew back to base this morning. I hope he came away from the tour with all the information he needs to make a decision about what to do after his separation from the Army.
