Yesterday was double date day. John and his business partner planned a day for us wives at the Denver Art Museum to see the exhibit Passport to Paris,
followed by lunch at a nice Italian restaurant downtown. By nice, I mean table linens, bread plates, full place settings and no kids—what a concept.
The exhibit featured three centuries of French art, including paintings by Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Pissarro, Monet and others. John and I wished we were at the artwork shelter instead of the museum so we could adopt one of them and take it home. We were especially fond of this one:
We have the perfect spot for it and would take exceptional care of it—promise!
