Eric flew into town this afternoon; he’s on leave for the next 12 days. His request list for certain menu items is pretty long, so to stay ahead of the curve, I’ve been a kitchen slave since Wednesday. First I prepped marinades for burgers and steak. Yesterday I made lasagna, including the sauce. It was nice to get it assembled and clean up the mess yesterday so all I had to do today was pull it out of the fridge and pop it into the oven.
After dinner, I asked Ross to cut up the watermelon. He didn’t even finish cutting half of it before this happened:
