Acts of kindness

Our neighbor Dave has a snow blower and he has kindly cleared the snow off our sidewalks every single time it’s snowed this winter. That’s a lot of snow because we live on a corner so we have to shovel both in front and along the side of the house.

To say thank you, I made a batch of banana nut muffins yesterday evening and John and Ross ran them next door. Thanks, Dave!

These almost look like cookies, don't they? The recipe makes so much batter, the cups are filled to the brim. In the oven, the batter spreads to create a wide top. Sometimes I find the strangest recipes.

This is a super busy week for us:

  • Spring break. Translation: increase mileage on car by 500.
  • I’m working an extra day at the shop.
  • Ross’s birthday on the 31st, which means chocolate cake and birthday dinner this weekend.

If I haven’t posted for a while, please check back; I will return.
